Bladed Style Cutterhead Baskets:
Rotating cutterheads typically utilizing five or six blades with replaceable edges. (Available in plain, serrated and pick tooth). These cutterheads are used to provide a means of excavation in material that will require some loosening or cutting to get it to move into the suction mouth. Scalping Baskets:
Custom fabricated rotating cutterhead basket used when material is expected to be relatively free flowing. Bars welded around the basket scalp off oversize material keeping it from reaching the suction mouth. In instances where there is need for some agitation or minor excavation Hensley teeth may be added around the diameter for a more aggressive motion. Contact our sales team for any questions.
