Chain Ladder Dredges utilize a large chain with specialized cutting links to loosen the material.
Most commonly used in sand and gravel mining operations, The Cutter Chain it has the advantage of removing oversize material, like tree stumps, large rocks and coble and conveying that material far away from the suction mouth to greatly limit re-handling or build-up issues at the suction. Chain Ladder Dredges are available in discharge sizes from 8”-22” and with ladder lengths up to 150 feet.
