DREDGEOS is a comprehensive interface that provides real time information and controls for Operating your Dredge and maximizing Dredge production. This system provides all of the capabilities described below:

Our Dredge Production Operating System is a proprietary ‘turnkey’ meticulously designed to monitor and control key systems onboard your dredge.

The heart of this is its user-centric interface – a vibrant, color flat-panel touch screen that ensures ease of navigation and control.

State-of-the-Art Upgrade – Version 2.0:

All new CDW dredges will be manufactured and delivered with  DREDGE|OS™ as a standard feature.  This update provides a more intuitive display offering more refined controls and enhanced features.

  • Velocity
  • Discharge Pressure
  • Vacuum

  • The Doppler Flow Meter measures the speed of the flow through the discharge pipe

    • Meter is pre-programmed and calibrated for dredge pump discharge pipe ID.

  • DEPTH DISPLAY:                                                                                                             

    Allows the operator to view the cutting depth on the Display screen

    • Ladder mounted angle sensor
    • Mounting hardware
    • Cabling, and software

                                                    

  • PUMP RPM DISPLAY:                                                                                                     

    Displays the Pump RPM on the Display screen

    • Pump speed is read directly from the VFD
    • On dredges with belt drive, the optional magnetic wrap pump shaft speed sensor allows monitoring for belt slippage

  • SERVICE WATER DISPLAY:    

    Displays the service water pressure on the Production Control screen                              

    • Includes a 0-200 PSI pressure transducer w/Cable and Connectors
    • To be mounted in service water supply pipe
    • Includes Low pressure level alarm indicator

  • CUTTER PRESSURE DISPLAY:

    Displays the HYD Cutter pressure on the Hydraulic Control screen                                  

    • Includes a 0-3000PSI pressure transducer w/Cable and Connectors
    • To be mounted in cutter HYD pressure line

  • WINCH PRESSURE DISPLAY: 

    Displays the HYD Winch pressure on the Hydraulic Control screen          

    • Includes a 0-3000PSI pressure transducer w/Cable and Connectors
    • To be mounted in winch HYD pressure line

  • PUMP GEAR BOX PRESSURE DISPLAY (On Gearbox Driven Pumps):

    Displays the Pump Gear Box pressure on the Production Control screen 

    • Includes a 0-200PSI pressure transducer w/Cable and Connectors
    • To be mounted in gear box HYD pressure line

  • ALARM LOG DISPLAY:

    Records Alarms or faults that occur during operation

    • Alarm history up to fifteen alarms

  • CDW PUMP FLOW SPEED CONTROL:                                                                                 

    Speeds up and Slows down Dredge Pump based on setpoints of production and velocity

  • CDW BOOSTER PUMP THROTTLE CONTROL SYSTEM:                                          

    Increase Booster Pump performance by controlling the booster pump inlet pressure by automatically adjusting the RPM to maintain the targeted pump inlet pressure.

    • Maintain selected booster inlet pressures under various feed conditions
    • Reduce fuel consumption
    • Prevent booster pump cavitations
    • Eliminate personal supervision
    • Reduce booster pump wear
    • Control and monitor booster pump remotely
    • Increase performance and Decrease costs

In the unlikely event that the hydraulic joystick levers inside the cab become inoperable, these outboard winch levers can be swiftly accessed and utilized to allow pumping operations to continue uninterrupted. This redundancy in control systems means that you can maintain production targets, while awaiting repairs.
